Boca Raton Police are investigating a robbery at Chase Bank.

On Tuesday, March 15, 2016 at about 3:40 p.m., Boca Raton Police officers responded to a robbery at the Chase Bank, 714 West Yamato Road.

Bank staff told arriving officers the suspect entered the bank, approached a teller and handed her a note, which stated he wanted money and had a gun. The suspect did not show or in some other way imply that he had a gun. The suspect took the money and placed it in an envelope he carried with him. The suspect exited the bank and was last seen walking east through the parking lot. Witnesses lost sight of him when he walked to the rear of Village Plaza. No one was injured and the suspect left with an undetermined amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black male in his early to mid 20’s, thin build, clean shaven, wearing all black clothing and a black Marlins baseball cap.
