Riviera Beach Police are investigating a shooting that occurred shortly after midnight today, August 1, 2015. The Shot Spotter System alerted police officers to multiple gunshots in the 1600 block of West 26th Street. On scene officers found one twenty-two year-old man who had been shot. It was determined that he was with several people near 1662 West 26th Street when shots were fired. He was the only one struck. The victim was transported to a hospital and is reported to be in critical but stable condition.
