Pedestrian Hit and Run Fatality
On September 4, 2022, at approximately 11:49 p.m., JPD officers responded to a call of an adult, Hispanic male pedestrian lying in the roadway in the south bound lanes of Alternate A1A, just south of Indiantown Rd. The adult male was transported from the scene to St. Mary’s Medical Center, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Th initial investigation has determined this pedestrian fatality was the result of a hit and run crash. No suspect vehicle information is known at this time.
