Deputies responded to a stabbing in the 1200 block of NW 16th Street in the City of Belle Glade. Upon arrival, deputies and paramedics located a male victim in the rear of the business deceased.
Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division arrived on scene to investigate further. Further investigation determined that the deceased was involved in an altercation, in the 1300 block of NW Avenue L, City of Belle Glade. After the incident, the victim was picked up by his friends and driven to the Rodriguez Food Store, where 911 was called. Detectives are investigating this incident as a homicide.
The investigation is still active and ongoing.
