At approximately 11:18 am on January 2, 2024, deputies responded to a shooting in the 800 block of Palm Beach Road, South Bay. Upon arrival deputies located an adult male suffering from gunshot wound(s) in the parking lot. The male was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division arrived on scene to investigate this shooting as a homicide. No suspect or motive is known at this time.
