On Sunday, July 19, 2015, at 4:17 am, the manager of Regal Cinemas was exiting the business when two masked suspects armed with handguns ran up to her ordering her to the ground. She was walked back into the business and put into a janitorial closet. The suspects used a sledge hammer to open the manager’s office but were not able to locate the safe. The victim/store manager fled from the closet to the back of the building and was able to call 911 while the suspects were inside. The suspects got away before deputies arrived.
