On Sunday, January 29, 2012, at midnight, an altercation occurred inside the South Florida Fair, near gate 2, between a few individuals. The altercation resulted in gun fire. Two victims were struck. One victim was air lifted to St. Mary’s Medical Center with non-life threatening injures and the second victim was taken by ambulance to Wellington Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injures.
The South Florida Fair was locked down for a short period of time while the suspect, black male, wearing black clothing was sought.
