### January 16, 2015 Update – Vehicle Homicide Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance with locating what we believe is the suspects’ vehicle. The driver was believed to be driving a Chevrolet or Buick SUV or minivan. The color is called cocoa metallic. It is a grayish brown metallic. The vehicle should have front bumper damage, minor hood damage and possibly minor roof damage. If anyone has information about this fatal crash or suspect vehicle they are urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS or Investigator Troy Snelgrove at 561-681-4536. ###

 

Vehicle Homicide Investigators investigating a Fatal Crash on Okeechobee Blvd and Florida Turnpike. January 1, 2015 Time: 11:29 pm Location: Okeechobee Blvd & Fla Turnpike V1 was traveling westbound on Okeechobee Boulevard at the intersection of the Florida Turnpike. P1 was standing in the center median of Okeechobee Boulevard on the west side of the intersection. V1 drifted to the left and struck the center median with the front undercarriage of V1. V1 then mounted the curb and struck P1 and a roadway sign with the front of V1. P1 was then fender vaulted off the passenger side of V1 striking the roadway. V1 then drove back into the westbound lanes and fled the scene. P1 was pronounced dead on scene. V1 is gray in color with front end damage.
