Jupiter Police are investigating a hit and run.

The Jupiter Police Department is currently investigating a hit and run traffic crash involving a pedestrian. A preliminary investigation has determined a black Toyota Tundra was traveling west in the 900 block of West Indiantown Road at 8:07 PM when it collided with a pedestrian attempting to cross Indiantown Road. The driver of the vehicle and several passengers fled the scene, abandoning the vehicle at 901 West Indiantown Road (Jupiter Reserve Plaza). The adult female pedestrian was transported to Saint Mary’s Medical Center via Trauma Hawk in serious condition.
