Deputies responded to a shot spotter activation in the 600 block of SW 10th Street, Belle Glade. Upon arrival deputies located an adult male victim lying in the roadway suffering from gunshot wound(s). The victim was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries on October 16, 2023.

Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division are investigating this shooting as a homicide.
