On Friday, December 30, 2016, at 9:25 am, an armed robbery and shooting occurred outside of the Torecilla Jewelers located at 2 West Avenue A, Belle Glade. The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 5’8 and stocky build.  He was wearing a dark mask, gray sweat shirt, dark pants and black shoes. He fled on foot to an older model 4 door white Toyota Camry.
