V1 was heading northbound in the 4550 block of S. Jog Rd., within the center lane.  P1 was attempting to cross from the center median heading east across Jog Rd.  As P1 walked into the northbound lanes, V1 veered right to the easternmost lane where it struck P1.  V1 struck P1 with its passenger side headlight area.  P1 came to final rest on the sidewalk on the east side of the road.  V1 fled the scene north on Jog Rd.  V1 was only identified as a black or grey 4 door sedan type vehicle with tinted windows.  Due to debris left on scene, V1 may have a broken passenger side headlight. P1 was transported to Delray Medical with life threatening injuries.
