On Friday, August 3, 2012, at approximately 3:25 pm, deputies responded to shots fired in the 1000 block of 8th Ave, North, Lake Worth. When deputies arrived they located two H/M victims shot. Both victims were taken by ambulance to JFK Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Patrol units, K-9 units and the helicopter are searching the surrounding area for two armed suspects. Further description is unknown.

We are still in the very preliminary stages of this investigation. The reason for the shooting is currently unknown.
