Detectives from the Boca Raton Police Services Department are investigating an armed carjacking and robbery that happened Friday February 19th at approximately 11:50pm in the parking lot at 5601 NW 2nd Avenue. Two women were sitting in a red Infiniti FX35 in the parking lot of the Boca Tecca apartments waiting for an Uber driver to arrive to pick up one of the occupants. While waiting, the passenger said a black male opened the door of the car and put a gun to her head, ordering her out of the car and to the ground. The woman in the driver’s seat said simultaneously that another black male opened the driver’s side door, put a gun to her head and ordered her out of the car.

Both women say the two men with guns, along with two additional black males, got in the car and drove off. The women described the two suspects with guns, but could not provide a description of the additional two suspects. The four suspects were last seen heading south on NW 2nd Avenue. Items in the car include multiple credit cards, a Michael Kors bag and wallet, iPhone and multiple other items.
