Deputies patrolling in the area of US Highway 27, South Bay, heard what appeared to be gun shots on March 10, 2023 around 4:30 pm.

Almost immediately they located a vehicle fleeing the area. Deputies affected a traffic stop on the vehicle and located three individuals; all males, inside the vehicle suffering from injuries. All three individuals were transported to a local hospital for treatment. All three individuals are being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division were on scene investigating further. No suspect or motive is known at this time.
