On Monday, February 27, 2012, at 10:22 P.M., Riviera Beach Police Officers responded to 1501 West 33rd Street in reference to a report of multiple gunshots.  The shots were detected by the City’s Shotspotter technology (A gunshot recognition system). Upon arrival, Officers found the  victim outside of the residence.  He had multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced deceased on scene.

The victim of a homicide that occurred last night (2/27/12) has been identified as Anthony Hester, Jr. (DOB 8/1/88) of Riviera Beach.
