Riviera Beach Police are investigating 3 separate shooting incidents that occurred this weekend. The incident locations were: (1) Congress Avenue and MLK Boulevard – One male was shot as occupants of two vehicles exchanged gun shots. His injuries were fatal. (2) 900 block of West 5th Street – One male and one female were shot by a male suspect who approached on foot and shot them in front of a house. The female was seriously injured. The male appears to have minor injuries. (3) 1200 block of Avenue ‘R’. Two males were shot outside of a home after a male suspect approached on foot. Both appear to have minor injuries. The three incidents are related. The second and third are retaliatory in nature. Suspects have been identified and the investigation is continuing.
