On Saturday, April 25th, a wallet was stolen out of the victim’s purse while shopping at Michaels Arts & Craft Store (Belvedere and SR-7). She was distracted by a woman who approach and asked her opinion about some dried flowers. She turned her back and thinks that’s when her wallet was taken. A short time later, her credit cards were used at Marshalls and Target (a loss of over $5,900). These three individuals are working together. They conduct distraction thefts and follow with fraudulent purchases (multiple victims).
