PBSO is currently investigating a homicide in the City of Belle Glade. Approximately 11:20pm PBSO responded to a shooting at the Dixie Fried Chicken restaurant which is located at the corner of SE 2nd and Martin Luther King Blvd. Upon arrival Deputies found a deceased B/M adult, with multiple gunshot wounds, outside on the ground in front of the business. Deputies were advised that a group of men were gathered in front of the business when a B/M walked up and started shooting with a handgun. It is unknown at this time if the victim was the intended target. The suspect is described as a B/M about 5’7-5’8 heavy build wearing black shorts and a gray T-shirt. Detectives, Crime Scene Investigators, and the Medical Examiner’s office is on scene. This is an open and ongoing investigation.
