Palm Beach County Sheriffs Office are investigating a homicide outside of the Stop and Save Food and Deli

PBSO is currently working a homicide at 5951 N. Haverhill Blvd., suburban West Palm Beach in front of the Stop and Save Food and Deli. About 9:50pm this date PBSO received a 911 call of a shooting outside of the store. When Deputies arrived the found a deceased B/M adult and another B/M with a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim with the wound to the leg was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital. The shooter fled the area. The motive of the shooting is unknown at this time. Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators are on scene. Haverhill Rd. from Dyer to Caribbean is closed at this time.

The deceased male in this homicide investigation has been identified as HERODE PIERRE of the 400 block of Tortuga Drive, West Palm Beach, D.O.B. 3/07/1985. The second victim CHEQUEVARA CHARLES of West Palm Beach D.O.B. 5/31/1997 was treated and released from St. Mary’s Hospital.
