Jupiter Police are investigating a shooting on Cherokee Street.

On November 16, 2017 at approximately 3:30 a.m., Jupiter Police Department Officers responded to the 1100 block of Cherokee Street in reference to possible gunshots heard in the area.

The preliminary investigation has revealed that gunshots were fired in the area, and as a result, a residence in the 1100 block of Cherokee Street was struck. No one in the residence was injured from the gunshots that were fired.

The incident is currently under investigation, and at this time, this appears to be an isolated incident.
