Boynton Beach Police are investigating the shooting death of a 52-year-old Vincent Veasey, early Monday. Police responded to a report of a shooting at 2:19 a.m. at an apartment complex at 701 Rider Road.

Upon arrival, officers located a trail of blood leading to the second floor landing where a man was found face down. Boynton Beach Fire Rescue responded and pronounced the man dead.
