On Sunday, September 30, 2012, at approximately 5:45 pm, PBSO deputy responded to Pentecostal Church of God located in the 1500 block of Prairie Road, West Palm Beach, to speak with a complainant when suddenly the deputy heard what appeared to be a gun shot and realized that he was punctured in the back of the neck what we believe was from a BB gun. A perimeter was immediately set up around the church. No suspects were located. EMS responded and immediately treated our deputy. He is being transported to a local hospital to be further evaluated. He received non-life threatening injuries.
