Palm Beach County Sheriffs Office is Investigating a Double Homicide on Myrtle Lane in suburban West Palm Beach

On Sunday, June 26, 2011, at approximately 9:18 pm, deputies responded to a 911 call of shots fired in the 4500 block of Myrtle Lane, West Palm Beach.  When deputies arrived they met with a homeowner who lives in the 4500 block of Myrtle Lane, WPB.  The homeowner advised deputies that he heard shots fired in the area.  The homeowner decided to investigate the sound of shots fired.  He decided to check with the residence next door when he located two males deceased, in the residence, from gun shots wounds. 

The homeowner immediate called PBSO and PBC FR.  PBC FR arrived and pronounced the males deceased.

Detectives have arrived on scene.  They are currently in the process of getting a search warrant to enter the residence.  Obtaining the search warrant could consist of several hours. 

The two victims have been identified as: Douglas Donahue (DOB: 3/16/41), and Tomasso Coggio (DOB: 1/19/48).
