The Palm Beach Gardens Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance with information regarding a homicide of a security guard Jacques Novembre

The Palm Beach Gardens Police Department is investigating the homicide of security guard Jacques Novembre.

During the early morning hours of Thursday July 14, 2011 a Palm Beach Gardens Patrol Officer came upon a severely beaten black male at the rear of the Promenade Plaza, located at 9900 Alternate A-1-A, Palm Beach Gardens Florida. Upon further investigation it was determined that the male was the security officer for the plaza.

It is believed that the security officer was making his normal rounds in the rear of the plaza when he noticed some suspicious activity near the in-ground water meter and back flow preventer valves and possibly interrupted the suspects, who were in the process of dismantling and stealing the back flow preventers. As a result of this, the security officer suffered a severe beating which resulted in him sustaining several facial and skull fractures. Novembre subsequently died from his injuries.

(Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $1,000 reward and an additional reward of up to $4,000 is being offered by United Special Patrol Inc. and the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department is offering up to $5,000 until July, 2012, totalling the complete reward of up to $10,000)

Anyone with information regarding this incident is being asked to contact Palm Beach Gardens Detective Boyle or Detective Hawkins at 561-799-4445, or if you’d like to stay anonymous and be eligible for up to $10,000 REWARD call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS (8477) or text tips to tips@cspbc.com
