The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office needs the public’s assistance identifying a scam suspect.

Elderly victims have reported to PBSO that they were contacted by a female subject advising them that she was a representative of their banking establishment, (all victims bank with different banking institutions).  The female subject told them that there was fraudulent activity on their debit cards and she would be sending a bank representative to their home to pick up the compromised debit card.  During the course of the telephone conversation, the female subject would acquire the victim’s PIN number for the card(s).  An unidentified black female subject would then arrive at the victim’s residence(s) and take the card from the victim’s possession.  Shortly thereafter, several fraudulent charges would be applied to the victim’s account primarily from Publix and Wal-Mart stores in the Lake Worth and WPB areas.  The victims who physically encountered the unidentified B/F subject, (claiming to be from their banking establishment) all gave similar physical and clothing descriptions.
