The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance identifying a suspect who burglarized the Lake Worth Pier.

Detectives are seeking the identity of the male seen below. This suspect is wanted for attempting to burglarize the restaurant and bait store, on the pier, when he was interrupted by the store manager. A short time later, after the pier was opened, local anglers discovered numerous planks of wood along the pier walkway removed and floating in the ocean.

The suspect was described as, white male, thin build, dark hair w/bun, and a goatee. He was seen wearing Nike sneakers, blue hoodie and blue & white flannel shirt. He may be riding a scooter.

This incident occurred on December 20, 2020 sometime between midnight and 6:00 am.
