Detectives from the Special Victims Unit is investigating a residential Burglary/Sexual Battery. What we know right now is a black male, see composite attached and below, entered into an apartment through an unlocked rear door in the 1000 block of North F. Street, at 5:00 am, Sunday morning. While inside the residence, the suspect sexually assaulted a female resident. After being confronted by a family member of the victim, the suspect fled the apartment. Road patrol deputies arrived on scene and searched the area with negative results.

The suspect is described as dark skin black male, approximately 25-29 years old, 6-00, thin build, beard, wearing a black hoodie and black jeans.
