The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office is attempting to identify a stabbing/robbery suspect.

On Thursday, 12/05/19 at approximately 9:56 am the victim was in front of a bus stop in the area of 5960 S. Jog Road in unincorporated Lake Worth when a homeless man approached him. The suspect grabbed the victim’s backpack and took off running. The victim chased the suspect, and they fought over the backpack until the suspect stabbed the victim. Suspect then walked off and later jumped over a fence with the backpack. The victim suffered a non-life threatening stab wound and was transported to a local hospital for treatment of his injury.

The suspect is described as being a dark-skinned black male, mid-20s, 5’4-5’6, thin build, with short tight braids. The suspect’s name is unknown, but he frequents the area of Lantana Road and Jog Road. He may also have a slight Jamaican accent.
