The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office are Seeking to Identify Two Hispanic Males WANTED for Scamming a Female out of $ 3000

SCAM ALERT!

Hispanic female was scammed for over $ 3000 by two unknown Hispanic males.

Both suspects approached the victim as she walked out of a department store located in Wellington. The first male approached the female, acted as if he was confused and asked for her help with finding a Spanish community center. The second male approached and injected himself into their conversation. After earning her trust the suspects led her to two banks where she made two withdraws losing over $ 3000.

The suspect 1 was described as: elderly Hispanic male, nicely dressed, approximately 74 – 75 years of age. Suspect 2 was described as: short, younger Hispanic male, approximately 40 – 45 years of age, also nicely dressed. Both suspects were seen driving in a newer gray SUV with a slanted back, possibly a Hyundai.

This incident occurred on March 23, 2016, at 11:00 am. The department store was located in the 13000 block of Wellington Trace, Wellington.
