Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division are investigating a homicide that occurred in the 2000 Block of S. Haverhill Road, in unincorporated Lake Worth, just after midnight on Tuesday, April 5, 2016.

The victim in this investigation has been identified as ROBERT BRUBAKER JR. D.O.B. 1/21/1949 of West Palm Beach. This investigation is still open and ongoing.

The elderly victim’ s 2008 Mercury Milan was recovered in Broward County off of Interstate 95 at 3:00 AM. The vehicle has front end and windshield damage.
