An individual walking in the 400 block of Cypress Ave, Lake Park, noticed what appeared to be a black male lying face down in the roadway. He called 911, deputies and fire rescue personnel arrived and determined the male was deceased.

Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division and Crime Scene Investigators responded to the scene to investigate further. Once the medical examiner’s personnel arrived on scene and the male was being prepared for removal it was discovered that the victim, adult male, was a victim of a homicide.

**UPDATE**

The victim has been identified as Davion Crometie, DOB: 5/27/98.  This investigation is still very active and ongoing.
