Police officers on patrol heard gunshots in the area at 8:57 p.m. last night. As they responded to the 100 block of West 17th Street, they observed two vehicles leaving the area. One of the vehicles crashed into a fence at 157 West 17th Street while attempting to elude police. Officers were unable to locate the two males who ran from the scene. No information about the second vehicle is available for release. Two males were shot at 125 West 17th Street. They were both transported to a hospital where they were treated for what appeared to be non-life threatening injuries. The investigation is continuing.
