Palm Beach Police needs the public’s assistance identifying a suspect using stolen credit cards

— Police are looking for a woman suspected of walking into an office building in the 300 block of Royal Palm Way in Palm Beach and walking out with someone else’s driver license, and credit and debit cards earlier this month.

The thief went on to use the stolen cards at local retailers, according to information distributed by police spokeswoman Jennifer Recarey.

The incident happened on Oct. 13. The victim, they report, said she had left her belongings “unsecured in her office” and didn’t realize they were missing until her bank contacted her.

Investigators believe they have an image of the thief caught at a different nearby office building taken that same day. They describe her as a black woman 35-to-45 years old with shoulder-length, black hair and wearing a black pants suit.

If you recognize the person in the photo or have information about the case, you are asked to call Det. Joe Guelli at (561)-838-5454 or if you’d like to stay anonymous and be eligible for up to $1,000 REWARD call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS (8477) or text tips to tips@cspbc.com
