On Sunday August 27th, 2017 at 1:57 A, the Palm Beach Gardens Police Department was called to 8564 Sunset Drive, Palm Beach Gardens in response to a shooting. Officers located the victim, Melvin Jones who was shot multiple times in front of the residence. The initial investigation revealed this murder was not a random act.
