January 1st 2011 will be the one year anniversary of the unsolved homicide of Jeffrie Jones. It was the first homicide of the year in Palm Beach County.

On Friday, January 1, 2010, approximately 6:30 am, PBSO dispatch received a 911 call of a male lying in the roadway. When deputies arrived they located a black male, deceased from a gunshot wound(s) lying, in the road, in the 7800 Block of Pioneer Road, WPB. 

The deceased was identified as Jeffrie Jones, DOB: 2/24/87 of 1080 Benoist Farms Road, # 103, WPB.  

There are no known witnesses or motive to this murder.
