Suspects Wanted for Distraction Theft.

Two Hispanic males knocked on the victim’s, 96 years of age, door and advised that they were there to clean his roof. They further advised that they were sent by the residential association.  The suspects convinced the victim that they needed to enter the residence to check for leaks. While inside the suspects began to open and look through cabinets and drawers. One suspect was caught leaving the bedroom with the victim’s jewelry box.  They both fled in a white pickup truck.

This incident occurred on March 7, 2017 at 3:30 pm.  The distraction theft took place at a residence in the 2500 block of E. Barkley Drive, WPB.
