The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office needs assistance on a hit and run involving a pedestrian.

V-1 was traveling westbound in the 2700 blk of 6th Avenue South in an unknown lane. P-1 was within the westbound lanes of 6th Avenue South.  V-1 struck P-1.  It is unknown what P-1’s actions were prior to the crash. V-1 left the scene in an unknown direction. As P-1 lay within the inside lane of westbound traffic, multiple vehicles struck P-1, 3 of them remained on scene. Scene evidence indicated V-1 is possibly a 1980’s – 1990’s  F600 – F800.

V-1 should have a broken headlight and indicator lamp most likely on  the driver side. 

The pedestrian (P-1) has been identified as Corey Michael Justice, DOB: 5/17/1990, of 1412 Old Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach

The scene evidence indicated the V-1 is possibly a 1980’s – 1990’s  F600 – F800. V-1 should have a broken headlight and indicator lamp most likely on  the driver side. P-1 has not been identified at this time.

UPDATE: The Vehicle Homicide Unit is seeking to identify this truck that was possibly involved in the hit & run crash that occurred on June 30, 2017 at approximately 5:35 a.m. on 6th Avenue South east of Congress Avenue, Lake Worth.
