On Wednesday, September 14, 2011, at 4:49 pm, an armed robbery occurred in the south parking lot of 10125 Glades Road near the Hurricane Bar and Grill. The victim was placing her purse inside her car when an unknown black male approached her from behind and placed a knife to her back. The suspect took cash and jewelry from the victim and was last seen fleeing west from the incident location.

The suspect is described as 18-20 years old, with dark skin, a thin build, 6’00” tall, with short black hair. He was last seen wearing a white tank top, dark gym shorts and dark sandals.
