Palm Beach County Sheriffs Office is investigating a PBSO Motor Deputy Involved in a Crash

On Thursday, April 12, 2012, at approximately 9:50 am, PBSO Motor Deputy was attempting to initiate a traffic stop with activated lights and sirens, in the1600 Southern Blvd, east bound lanes, when a white older model Chevy Caprice 4 door side swiped the motor deputy causing him to crash.  The motor deputy is being transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Witnesses observed the white older model Chevy Caprice slow down then speed up and flee the scene.  The vehicle should have right side damage.  We believe the driver was a black or Hispanic female with black hair.
