** UPDATE **

The deceased female has been identified as Ophelia Redden, B/F, D.O.B 10/29/58.  Detectives have determined that Ms. Redden was a victim of Homicide. 

No witnesses, suspects or persons of interest have been identified.  

On Friday, January 28, 2011, at approximately 1:51 pm, a passerby discovered a deceased black female, partially clothed in the 100 block of State Market Road, Pahokee.

Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division as well as Crime Scene Investigators are currently en route to the scene.
