On June 29th at approximately 2:20 am the masked suspect approached the resident and knocked on the door and entered the residence. Once inside an altercation took place resulting in the female victim being shot. The suspect fled in one of the family owned vehicles which was later found abandoned a short distance away. PBC Fire Rescue arrived and transported the female to a local hospital where she passed away. The victim was identified as Makeva Jenkins (DOB: 8/9/83).
