On Friday, April 5, 2013, at approximately 11:54 pm, deputies patrolling in the 300 block of Booker Ave and Rardin Ave, Pahokee, heard what appeared to be gunshots and observed people running in different directions. As deputies approached the intersection they located a black male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Palm Beach County Fire Rescue arrived, treated and determined the male should be transported via trauma hawk to St. Mary’s Medical Center for further treatment. Shortly after the male arrived he passed away. Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators arrived to investigate further. No suspect information at this time.
