On 1-11-2013, 9:50 pm. PBSO Deputies responded to a residential burglary in the 7000 block of Ashford Ln. suburban Boynton Beach (Aberdeen Development). Lauren Kanoff advised that her father , ALBERT HONIGMAN d.o.b. 11/29/1932, was the homeowner and was taken to Bethesda West Hospital for his injuries. Further investigation revealed that this was a robbery and the victims stated that an unknown B/m entered the open garage and beat both of them .  Kanoff advised that several pieces of jewelry was taken from them.

HONIGMAN was released from the hospital on the morning of 1-12-13.  Later that date on 01-12-13 HONIGMAN returned to the hospital and returned home in the afternoon of 01-13-13.  HONIGMAN went to bed when he returned home and was later discovered dead by his daughter, Lauren.

An autopsy was performed and the cause of death was determined to be blunt force trauma to the head and the manner of death is a homicide. This case remains open and ongoing. No additional information at this time.
