Palm Beach County Sheriffs Office are investigating a suspicious death where human remains were found in a garbage bag in Lake Worth

The victim has been identified as Tiffany Nelson (DOB: 5/31/92) of 628 South “L” St. in Lake Worth.

On Monday, October 29, 2012, at approximately 10:34 am, deputies responded to suspicious odor in the 1300 block of South “L” Street, Lake Worth. When deputies arrived they found what appear to be human remains wrapped in a garbage bag in front of an abandoned house.

Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division and Crime Scene Investigations responded to the scene to investigate. After documenting the scene, the Medical Examiner’s Investigators were called and transported to remains back the ME’s office where an autopsy will be performed to determine identity and the cause of death.
