Jupiter Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Home Depot off of Indiantown Rd.

Jupiter, Florida – On November 3, 2016, at approximately 5:40 a.m., officers responded to an armed robbery which occurred at 1694 West Indiantown Road (Home Depot).

 

The suspects approached two victims at gunpoint while they were waiting for Home Depot to open.  One victim was shot and his personal property was stolen and the other victim was uninjured and his personal property was stolen.

 

The victim who was shot has been identified as 36-year old, Jesus Manuel Perea–Ortiz.  Perea-Ortiz was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center and is currently undergoing surgery.

 

The suspects have been described as two black males wearing grey shirts, approximately 5’6’’tall and they fled the area in a silver Toyota Camry with dark tint.

 

The incident is being actively investigated and as we receive more information we will provide additional details.
