Greenacres Police seek public’s help identifying alleged weekend bank robber

Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man wanted for allegedly robbing a bank on Sunday.

At around 2:50 p.m., a Hispanic male in his 20s drove up to the drive-thru of the TD Bank located at 5899 Lake Worth Road, Greenacres Police Department spokeswoman Capt. Gina Abbananto said this morning.

The man is described as being muscular with a heavy build, and no facial hair. He was driving a green Honda Civic, possibly from the late 90s or early 2000s, and gave the teller a note “demanding money,” Abbananto said.

The teller believed the man displayed a gun while demanding the money, and drove off in the westerly direction once he received it.

Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to call Det. Fayles (561) 385 3780 or if you’d like to stay anonymous and be eligible for up to $1,000 REWARD call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS (8477) or text tips to tips@cspbc.com
