Deputies find 2 shot after fight report at suburban Lake Worth park

Palm Beach County Sheriff’s detectives found two people shot tonight who may be connected to a fight at a park in suburban Lake Worth.

Deputies were dispatched at 6:20 p.m. to a large fight at a park in the Indian Pines Development, a sheriff’s office news release said. Moments later, they were notified of shots in the same area.

They found no one in the park, but received a third call from a resident who reported a wounded person outside her home in the 5600 block of Lincoln Circle East.

One victim was shot in the arm and taken to the JFK Medical Center and a second victim was shot in the head and was taken via ambulance to Delray Medical Center. Neither person’s injuries is believed to be life threatening, the news release said.
