Delray Beach Police are investigating the body of a woman found this morning just west of Interstate 95 before the Atlantic Avenue exit.

The white female was found in a grassy area on the side of Depot Avenue. Police do not know how long the body has been there, but are calling the incident “suspicious.”

Police describe the still unidentified woman as being somewhere between 25 and 40 years old, with brown hair. The woman’s body is about 5 feet, 7 inches and 135 pounds; with a tattoo on the left ankle that reads “Tami” with a red heart and “Mom” underneath.

The woman was wearing brown surf shorts and a white T-shirt over a bathing suit with brown and white horizontal stripes. She was also wearing brown flips-flops.
