Boynton Beach Police search for man who used stolen credit card to purchase an iPad and other electronics

Boynton Beach Police are asking for the public’s help identifying a man who used stolen credit cards to buy more than $2,200 in electronics from Target earlier this week.

Surveillance video shows the suspect using the stolen credit cards at around 8:30 p.m. on Monday in the Target at 650 N. Congress Ave. First, he bought an iPad and PlayStation 3 with accessories using the victim’s American Express credit card in the amount of $1,399.15. He then used the victim’s TD Bank Visa to buy another iPad for $879.79. The 41-year-old victim told police that he never lost possession of his wallet, so he is unsure how the suspect obtained his credit cards.

The suspect is described as a white male wearing a black and white jacket, black pants and white sneakers.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect is asked to call Detective Mike Vail at 561-742-6159 or if you’d like to stay anonymous and be eligible for up to $1,000 REWARD call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-458-TIPS (8477) or text tips to tips@cspbc.com
